Stranger's Wrath is a great, fresh breath of air for the series, and almost anybody can enjoy it's western charm.

The Oddworld series has been around a very long time. But when Oddworld: Munch's Oddessy came out, it was sort of a letdown to some Oddworld fans, but now that Oddworld Stranger's Wrath is out, it will appeal to fans and newcomers alike. This time Oddworld get's a little western, and it blends into the game perfectly. Stranger's Wrath's gameplay is a mix of first and third person shooting, and it works out very well. Actually, you can't really shoot in third person mode, you can only punch enemies and interact with the inhabitants of Oddworld, but all-in-all, Stranger's Wrath combines these elements suprisingly well. When your bounty hunting, you get more "moolah" if outlaws are alive, and less if they're dead, (of course, it makes sense) and the whole thing is very well thought out, and makes for a great gaming experience. The Graphics are incredible, especially in the cut-scenes. Everything is detailed so well, that it's simply beautiful to look at. The character models are well designed also, and the environments are, well, outstanding as well. The sound has some rough spots, but the voice acting and the sound of your gunfire sound hilarious.....in a good way of course. The western-themed music sounds great and is a perfect fit for the game Overall, Stranger's Wrath is a challenging and well thought out game that will satisfy you for a long time. A definite buy for Oddworld fans and newcomers.
