Nioh

Ni-Oh is an action game that action RPG fans will like but don't tell a real DARK SOULS fan that this game is like the SOUL SERIES.. because if you think that, you will be let down. Yes, there are tough enemies, stamina gauges, weapons, items and you level up similar like you do in the SOUL SERIES. However, Ni-Oh is it's own unique game. The atmosphere is pretty cool, I always liked games that took place in Japan because you can really see how different it is over there than America. The graphics are sub-par though, I can honestly say that this could of been played on the PlayStation 2. You will do a lot of enemy dodging and striking your opponent when they are tired or caught off guard. The action is not as fun as Dark Souls, it just doesn't have that lure. You get multiple types of weapons that you can use a low, medium or high stance with. Bosses are challenging and you do have the option to summon a friend which makes it a little easier. All in all this game was just okay to me nothing truly special here. You will have fun with this game but it will be forgotten.
