Final Fantasy fans can relax and rejoice - someone else picked up where Square fell off and now we have Ni No Kuni!!!!!

This is an old school JRPG game - complete with fields and inventories and turn based battles and all the great things that made this particular genre one of my favorites - and it's so amazing to see a new game come out in this style!!! I lived and breathed the final fantasy series right up until FF12 - which is when FF died a horrible death in live action battle against itself. But thank the crystals that this game came out because Ni No Kuni is amazing ... to me it's like this perfect mix of FF7 and a Ghibli cartoon .. two of my favorite things! so yeah - even though I'm nowhere near finished this one I had to review it .. a great game. I love the way they have taken old paradigms and done them in such a refreshing way .. the animation is brilliant , the environments in this game leave me wondering what all the other game developers have been doing all these years ... and pretty much everything about this game is awesome. Lots of stuff to do - great story , good music .. no complaints. awesome game.
