Once again, EA has nailed it.
PLUSES:
+The addition of the CHL has completely revolutionized Be a GM, allowing you to draft actual players and send them back to the juniors for seasoning.
+The physics engine makes hits as well as the way players move much more realistic.
+Presentation has improved with updated intros, better replays and tweaks to the commentary, and a new arena announcer.
+The ice has a more realistic "gloss" to it in game.
+Broken sticks are a small yet interesting addition this year. It's common to see players dropping their sticks because of a big hit or a stray puck breaking the stick in half.
+Goal reviews give an authentic feel to the game.
+Be A GM now has 7 Rounds in the draft, as well as up to 5 slots for trade and updated trade values.
MINUSES:
-Player overalls are unrealistic at times.
-Many times in Be a GM, rookies like Seguin and Gudbransson can be found in the FA list during the first year.
-Create A Player and Create A Team are still very limited.
-Fans in the stands are still unrealistic.
