Better than 09, still needs few updates.
I love the updates in the EASHL league. You now can play in either a casual or professional division. This helps out if you are a newbie. Yes there are those people who just like to tear everyone up in the casual league rather than being mediocre in the professional league. So that kind of sucks, but you knew it would happen. So far there has not been any kind of cheating that I can see. So that is HUGE. But there are still minor things EA needs to do to help with this online league. I believe they need to speed up the pauses (or decrease how many you get). At the end of games, they need to let whoever that wants to leave the game leave. I hate it when people actually sit there and watch the three stars and highlights cause it keeps me and my teammates there. We all want to leave so we can play again. I know there has to be other people out there like me. I do not mind people wanting to watch all of that if EA would let others leave when they want. Also speed up the intermissions and getting to the intermission screens. It takes way too long cause people sit there and watch the replays or have to go pee. Cmon people, go before you start a game. They only last 20 to 30 min. You can hold it!!!
I am sure there is other things I would rant about but cannot think right now. But as far as the Be a Pro, it is basically the same thing as last years. I love the entry draft part of it. They can go more in depth in future releases I think for this (make more of a story out of it). The boosts are a nice add on to the game. So it makes you go through the game in order to get even more help when playing either Be a Pro or EASHL.
They added a ton of more playability for Be a Pro goalies out there. I love it. Every button on your controller controls some kind of function as a goalie.
All in all this game is worth the purchase if you are a die hard hockey fan like me. This is one EA game I keep buying every year cause they do some big updates to it each and every year. Good work EA. Just need to start tweaking some minor things like I mentioned above. It would make the online portion of the game flow that much more smoothly.
