how can a game that freezes be sold? if you do not have network,dont buy it , it couldnt be fixed. if you

after 2 days of bought that game i decided start a be a gm mode , what i was not expecting in ea games , and on the great nhl series , was that the games freezes all the times at the thir game , i played with bruins , it was the first game of providence , and always that show my golie on a line changes the image stop , and the only thing to do is turn off and turn on ps3 again...
this happened to me always !
i checked on nhl forum and there are a lot os freeze problems...
on ps3 and xbox...
how is this possible , sell a game with this error ?
people who dont have network never can fix the game , if there will be a network patch to correct it...and will it exist a patch to correct this error ? if yes , when will it come ?after 30 days we cant gave the game back to refund or something.
i spend a lot of money on it , tomorrow i will send it back and ask for a refund.
see you nhl in 2011 , i will play 09 until then.
