Just played this at my friend's house (He works for the company), I told him I was extremely disapointed that the only REAL difference I found in NHL 09 and 10 was that the fighting was different..but I really never fought anyway because if I actually enjoyed it, I would of purchased an actual fighting game like UFC: Undisputed or Fight Night Round 4. Aside from the fighting, this game plays EXACTLY like NHL 09.. Glitching goals is still there, and has been a problem that has not been fixed yet.. I did the same moves in 09 to get goals, and I thought they would of fixed it.. it was an issue that was bothering me.. but aside from a few new cooler looking saves.. the AI computer is still not impressive. The AI of the computer on defence is also not that impressive, as they don't look to block the pass that goes cross crease and more often than they just stare the puck down as it goes cross crease and goes in the net. I played 20 minutes of be a pro, it was just as fun as NHL 09, making you feel like you were the actual hockey player, but again, there were no major differences from that of NHL 09. Overall its a good hockey game and I would recommend anyone to buy it, but if you have NHL 09, its not worth the 70 bucks upgrade tag.

Well the price going up 70$(cad) really sucks especially a game that is full of bugs. The gameplay changed a bit but not a huge diff between 08 - 09. If you have 09 don't buy it unless u are a hardcare online person then... Read Full Review
