I have seen a lot of reviews slating this game but they are wrong!!! NWN2 is a brilliant game and appeals to everything I would look for in a D&D style RPG. I have been playing this for quite a while now and have found the story to be exciting and the quests to have that extra oomph that keeps you tied to the keyboard at all times. Raising you basic party is no easy task and you will be constantly shifting around characters and items to get the most out of the areas you travel to and the difficulties they pose! Graphics are looking very good and for once I am not sickened by the repeating of dodgy character voices as found in the Baldur's Gate series and Icewind Dale! The atmosphere is exciting and deep.
I must admit that I was not a great fa of the first game at all and was sceptical to buying the second in the series, but I am really glad I did. The feel is different to the first and everything about it seems improved to me. Admittedly I am a pure sucker for games of this genre but I would pick this game out alongside Oblivion and others alike. I still have much of the game to go but I am looking forward to it without doubt and trust that the story will continue to twist and turn as it has done so far.
