One of the most disappointing games I have ever played on.
It's just gone far too serious and off the rail, by this I mean the escape sequence's where you're bashing different button's running from mobsters or the police or a deranged psychotic dog with rabies, which is really annoying and quite hard even on easy difficulty. As for the racing it's just the same stuff, different terrain that is over populated by some, well, idiotic drivers and in my opinion the game is rigged to total your car (try undertaking a car or van on blind bend or hill where you can't see what's coming and 9 times out of 10 you will total your car because of an oncoming vehicle after this the restart sequence begins and after a while it will seriously annoy with how long it takes to restart your race and how far back it takes you.
When your eventually ahead in a race it's ridiculous how quickly the opposition drivers catch up with you and how fast their cars are going but what else do you expect from EA, they are famous for their Computer catch up game play.
I am only 10% through the game and I am struggling to put the game in my Xbox over the likes of Saints Row The Third and FIFA 12, The Run just doesn't have anything that makes you excited to play on it over boredom, in fact it just frustrates you and makes you even more bored! I think I will eventually finish the game and I will probably update this review.
I will just finish by telling you, don't waste your money, if you want a NFS game buy most wanted, brilliant game.
