The return of the red and blue is more than welcome in this interesting title...
The main gameplay focus now is no longer on dark underground races with bad storyline, crappy (and sexy!) characters, and messed up comic snapshots, along with repetitive gameplay. This time around, the cops have decided to bring down the wall, and EA more than welcomed the idea! You will race against others challenging the law as you break every speed limit sign in town. You will race a plethora of modes as well as challenge your speeder friends online. Intense, stunning, but unfortunately not so challenging races await you. The developers could’ve really pitched up the challenge level even for amateur players.
The graphics still utilize spectacular special effects and rely on them to realize the games stunning presentation. However, the cars themselves have never looked so authentic. The environments are awesome and the attention to detail is amazing.
Make no mistake. This game sounds as good as it looks. The soundtrack is not only epic and grand, but it lets you melt in the moment as you chillingly bypass those slow cops! Simply great sound and car effects rule the day.
This game is what the series needed in a long time. And if you think the demo is good, wait until you see the real thing! Great effort.
