A program that keeps you consistent using your own equipment while offering something different every workout.

User Rating: 8.5 | My Fitness Coach WII
I got the My Fitness Coach after reading reviews on Amazon. It seemed to be the best thing for fitness out on the Wii and so I decided to give it a try. The first thing I was impressed with is that it takes your measurements and fitness level (not just your weight and height) to see what you need work on. In the profiling section you do resting heart rate and target heart rate. Then you do different activities like squats, push-ups, and crunches to determine which part of the body is the weakest (lower, upper, core, flexibility). The program suggests a routine based on the results (and it updates about once every 10 days). The workout varies from day to day (which I like...it have 500 exercises so you are always learning something) and you can use equipment you already have (I incorporated my stability ball and hand weights). The program unlocks music and environment based on how much you consistently use the program. I've been working on it for three weeks now and I've noticed some inches off my legs and waist just for 15 minutes a day. You can increase the duration and difficulty of the program as well (and it will adjust based on your mood when you start). It will ask you intermittently whether it was "no sweat", just right, or too hard and adjust. At the end of the workout you are shown how many calories you burned. I think it's worth the money. I only wish that it always involved the equipment based on the part of the body I am working on. I'm seeing results and I'm not panting for breath!
