I laugh every single time I play this game! :)

Why? Because the workouts are legit, but funny to do for the most part. I am well over my weight recommendation so my goal in this game is weight loss. I chose to pick that I'd like to lose 50 pounds.

At the start you measure yourself (chest, thighs, hips, etc.) and then you check your heart rate. After that, you do a couple of exercises so your trainer, Maya can see where you are at, physically. Then you check your heart rate again. You can actually skip the measurements and stuff and get right to the workout but I didn't. If you have measuring tape then I suggest you take the extra 10-15 minutes measuring yourself and doing the little workout to test where you stand. Finally, after that you can get started.

Maya recommends what you should concentrate on before you exercise so you can go with that option which will be starred or you can pick another option for the day yourself. I've worked out on two different days (and will work my way up to 30 minutes eventually) but for now, I work out in 15 minute intervals. But believe me, she works you out! The exercises are varied and most of them are fun. So far there were 1 or 2 that I couldn't quite do so well so I just did a previous one.

You can also incorporate your own equipment to use if you have it. This includes hand weights, an exercise ball, heart monitor or steps. I only had the weights so that's what I used.

Maya is also very encouraging and I don't find her (or her voice) to be a nuisance at all. In fact like I said, when I'm working out with her I laugh--a lot! It's very fun to do these workouts for some reason and after my 15 minutes is up, I am always sweating. Maybe I'm just out of shape or she just stretches you good, but boy does it work!

But onto the exercises. If the first part of it was too hard or not hard enough (she takes breaks occasionally), you can tell her and she will adjust accordingly. Also, in the beginning before you exercise, she asks you how you are doing. You can say, NOTHING CAN STOP ME, which will probably indicate a harder workout from the get go, NOT TOO BAD which will indicate you are doing average and will have a workout that's the same and finally YOU'RE LUCKY I'M HERE which means the workout will probably be easy on you.

All in all, I'm heavily impressed by this game. It makes exercising fun! I'm not even the type to want to exercise. The only other exercise I get in is walking from time to time.
