MK Trilogy for the N64 is a good game by itself but the PS1 version is tons! Tons! better! The problems with this game is the character selection is slimed down immensely with all the different versions of MK characters taken out. For example MK3 Sub-Zero is gone MK2 Jax and most notably Goro and Kintaro. That sucks really bad considering the N64 was at one time supposed to be the best damn system in the world!!!!. The sound in the game sounds very weak and muffled. Those are the problems with this game, now lets move on to the good stuff. 2d or 3d Kombat is combat! Even with the slim down of characters, there's still lots of options. The Multiplayer is pretty good with the team battles put in now and the graphics in the game still look virtually the same from the PS1. Plus the added character Female Chameleon is a bonus, she's basically a female Shang Tsung. The other improvement is no load times but it still doesn't make up for the lost characters. MK Trilogy for the N64 is a good game in it's own right but if you still play PS1 games my suggestion is to go with that version because the load times are definently worth it for the extra characters.
