Overall, good game. However, they're some concerns that can't go overlooked.
Let's start with the pros. It's innovative in the effect that it keeps veterans and newbies on their toes with an entirely different fighting system. It stays true to the Mortal Kombat gore factor. It is a lot of fun that can keep you and your friends trash-talking each other for hours. The story was great. I loved the story behind conquest. The ending had me at a surprise, surprisingly.
Now the cons. Let's not forget that they made way to many forgettable characters. Like Bo'Rai Cho, Ashrah, Kobra, Kira, and Havik,etc. You get the picture. These characters were stupid and unnecessary. New characters are great, but when they are so numerous, it's just more characters that get their thunder stolen by bigger and badder characters. Such as the legendary Sub-Zero and Scorpion.
