A Really Unenjoyable Port of Ulitmate Mortal Kombat 3

User Rating: 3.9 | Mortal Kombat Advance GBA
Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 is a vast upgrade to 1995's Mortal Kombat 3, then it would be updated in Mortal Kombat Trilogy in 1996. Well in late 2001, when the Nintendo Game Boy Advance was launched, the team decided to put UMK3 on the handheld, and it turns out bad. First of all, I know a lot complain about the gameplay, and it is true. Once a fighter hits you once, that's it, you are trapped as the opponent batters the heck out of you, and you never win. Oddly, I mastered this game, you have really be good to kill your opponent. The gameplay all around is pretty bad. Excellent character line up though.

The graphics are pretty nice, it captures some of the feel of UMK3, and the sound and music isn't that bad either. Those are the only two things that the game succeeds in. There isn't much to go back to this game if you have all the other Mortal Kombat games. I justt think all-in-all, in need serious improvement. I'm so sorry Ed Boon and John Tobias, this didn't turn out well.
