Not great, but easily addictive

I played this game thinking it was going to be stupid. I had never watched the cartoon, but I knew it was some kind of pokemon and digimon type show that little kids love to watch and memorize creatures. So I was hesitant to play this game. But as any good and desperate gamer, I'll try most any game. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I really dived into this game and really started to enjoy it. The gameplay is easy enough. You create, then train, and then battle your monster. The only part really in your hands is the creating and training. I tried to figure out how to get the battle system down, but I never really understood it, so I just let the computer fight for me. Your monster will win our lose depending on how good they are, so the trick is to just train and fight and your monster will get there eventually. Aside from the battle gameplay, the rest of the game is simple. You train your monster, you send your monster off to some monster training place to get trained, you feed your monster, you retire your monster when you're bored of them, and then you buy a new monster. It takes a while to really build anything up in this game, but once you start getting built up and you have money and your monsters are in a high class the game becomes a lot easier, but a lot more fun. The better your monsters are the more monsters are unlocked for you to train and they are more powerful and more interesting. The graphics on this game are fairly simple, but they work. There is no really need for complicated graphics. The creatures look well enough and it is easy enough to figure out what they look like. My main concern is the battle style. They could've done a better system, possibly a menu based battle system instead of the style they have. That is a big part of the game, but the game is still very enjoyable apart from that.
