Wow, I really don't know what to say. I remember playing baseball games back on the older handhelds like Gameboy and GameGear and they just weren't good. Ever since the PSP has come along though, this has all changed. Last year's MLB was great, this year's game, MLB 06 The Show, is just down right awesome. I actually feel like I'm playing a PS2 game. The graphics are excellent for a handheld sports game, the load times are tolerable, and even though the controls take some getting used to, they still feel pretty good.
If I have any complaints it's that there's not a "true" Franchise mode, but the season mode works just fine, and the career mode is awesome.
Overall, Sony did a great job with this game, and I'm glad to see the series continue to improve each year. I can't wait to see how MLB 07 will turn out.
