Metroid Prime Hunters is one of the best DS games I’ve played so far. The game play is good the graphics are great for a handheld and the multiplayer is defiantly one of the main parts of the game. Anyway I’ll start off with the controls. The Stylus mode right is probably the best way to do it unless your left handed in which case stylus mode left and it takes about half an hour to get used to the controls. The storyline is the only part of the game that could use some work. It is slightly repetitive but you will get over that quite quickly. The levels are great and some parts are quite puzzling but once you figure it out its usually straight forward after that. The thing that can take a bit to figure out is that you save your game at your ship. The multiplayer is good in all aspects especially since the amount of levels and game variations. The single card play is great I do it with my friends all the time and the only limitations are that the downloaded game has only Samus as a character and only battle mode. The multi-card play is great especially if you have 3-4 people. The only picking Samus barrier and the only battle mode is gone for multi-card play also. The Wi-Fi is the best mode of all. The voice chat with friends and the fact that there is always someone ready to play are only two aspects that make Wi-Fi play great. The rank matchmaking mode is great for people who don’t want to play against people that are level 4-5 but for people who relish a challenge you are able to turn this off. So overall I would say Metroid Prime Hunters is a good addition to anyone’s collection with it’s immerse single player campaign great multiplayer and excellent controls.
