I wasn't able to finish Prime 2: Echoes. The game was just was not enjoyable to me. As a fan to all the Metroid games I have to say I was disappointed with this title. There was just WAY too much back tracking. Honest to god, it was very confusing as well. I had spent hours wandering around looking for the next thing to accomplish with the 'hint' system doing me no good. This lead to me just dropping the attempt of completing this game. Glad I bought it at a discount price.
As far as the Pros, it did have a few over the first prime.
-Enhanced graphics. Slightly, but they were there. -Even greater art style IMO -Added MP support due to demand. (Wasn't great, but they listened to the fans)
I don't know how to rate this. I know some people really enjoyed this title, and just because I didn't doesn't mean its a bad game. Its a solid title, just frustrating for me. I think I'd still recommend this game to hardcore fans of the series.
