While the first Mercenaries was satisfyingly destructive, Mercenaries 2 seems to be part of that collateral damage.

When I bought the original Mercenaries, for the original Xbox, I was blown away (pun intended!) by the sheer and seemingly endless madness you could easily create within the game. I never buy a game when it comes out, and this game is a pretty good reason for why I'm that way. While the first game was true to it's title, this game shouldn't even have the word Mercenaries in it.

More bugs, glitches and mind numbing issues within this game than even acceptable, what was the testing team a lot of monkeys? The game isn't useless, but there is no doubt you will end up running into a bug while doing even the simplest of tasks.

The driving is terrible as well, it seems they didn't get the hint that A shouldn't be the gas from the first game, and yet again screwed up the driving controls. Although it seems like a new gen version of the original, Mercenaries 2 isn't worth spending the brand new price on. Although I'm glad someone did, just so I could pay a few bucks to buy it used.
