decent PSP platformer!

MediEvil is exactly the game i wanted for the PSP and what I had been waiting for. While not perfect it provides a enjoyable experience. The gameplay in MediEvil is a mixed bag. The puzzles, boss battles, and action sequences in the game are alot of fun and are really the best part of the game, but when it comes to combat things are pretty bland. The enemies have almost no AI and to beat them you usually just charge up a swing and go at them. Also the camera is in a somewhat close position and it can be hard to see when it gets in the way. Also using the d-pad as control is very hard so your stuck with the nub which has pretty good control. The graphics I found were gorgeous with bright and colourful texture everywhere and nice character models. The CG cutscene are also a joy to see. Sound (has been said before) is one of the best parts. The voice acting is amazing, and the music is great and they both greatly lend to the personality of the game. Overall if you want an excellent platformer dont hesitate to get MediEvil.
