Rising Sun was a screw up in the series and overall a poor game.

Gameplay-(4.6) The Medal of Honor series was big back in 2003 and Rising Sun sounded like a great concept and real step forward in the series. Its just a shame that this game was crap. The first problem and the biggest over course was that the gameplay was broken to describe it. Aiming was very difficult and annoying, guns felt unsatisfying to shoot and the AI was ridiculously retarded, the AI in the game was probably the games biggest issue and made this one of the easiest games ive ever played, in this game i actually never fired a bullet while i was on foot all you have to do is run up to the enemy and bash then.

Graphics-(3.9) Rising Sun also looked bad, the forests just looked like a scrambled mess of trees and plants etc. But every just looks awful and unpleasant to look at. For 2003 this game looked dated and horrible.

Sound-(5.5) The sound is pretty generic and nothing special, the guns don't really sound so good and the audio is pretty decent but after a while gets kinda old and repetitive, voice acting isn't so bad but the voices are kinda annoying sometimes.

This game was pretty bad overall and a real screw up in the Medal of Honor series and ironically enough the series went down hill since Rising Sun and eventually Call of Duty crushed Medal of Honor and took over the genre.
