Story had me completely hooked!
If you came from the original Mass Effect, then the story picks right up where it left off and sucks you in again. All of the characters you love from the original make an appearance somewhere in the game, and depending on how you interacted with that person, determines how they act towards you. I played a Paragon type character, so most of the reactions I got from characters I had seen from the first game were positive. It was almost nostalgic seeing previous characters, and the game really makes you feel apart of the Mass Effect universe.
The overall look of the game was great, beautiful worlds, characters, and environments. The game also ran very smooth for me on my PC, which is not top of the line and I was surprised. Controls felt good, graphics were very crisp, and load times were very reasonable. It didn't kill my PC either, like some games can.
I have played the games several times through, trying to see the game from different perspectives and it does give a different game experience. I played it on the PS3, and although I love the game, after playing it on the PC it does not compare as far as graphics and controls. Lots of glitches and long load times on the PS3 version, which was a little disappointing. Either way you decide to play and whatever you choose to play it on, the story alone in this game is enough to keep you addicted. Very fun, excellent story, and I will continue to play in the Mass Effect universe for a long time!
