This is the point to jump in.

I jumped into this series with the original Mass Effect, and I am happy I did the full 1 -> 2 -> 3,. But if starting from the very beginning isn't important to you, I would begin with Mass Effect 2. Although I wil... Read Full Review

A Mediocre Shooter with a Great Plot

I loved the original Mass Effect. The reason I loved it was because of the RPG elements, the cool shooting mechanic where your weapons can overheat, and the amazing story. This game takes 2 of those 3 things and basicall... Read Full Review

How do you better Mass Effect

After going through Mass Effect 1 twice, beating Saren, levelling up my Shepard to the max, I wondered how can BioWare possibly better this game ?In comes Mass Effect 2. Technically superior, looks great on the PC, play... Read Full Review

a game where your choices make a lot of difference in the narrative.

Mass Effect 2 when released in 2010 was highly acclaimed and won several awards of best game of the year, it is without doubt superior to its predecessor, but the game did not have as much my interest in the progress of ... Read Full Review

Not as strong as ME1 but still was a very good sequel.

Must I say that I adored the first Mass Effect game!It was very much entertaining, unique in its own way, action-packed and both the story and the characters are very well developed. I'm not a big fan of science-fiction ... Read Full Review

Pure Science-Fiction. You feel you're part of it.

The game is a pure masterpiece. You feel like you're part of a live show where every line and every word you pronounce can change the outcome. You're the same old Shepard (saved by Cerberus) and asked to save once more ... Read Full Review

Maybe the greatest game in the role-playing game genre.

Mass Effect 2 takes place after Shepard and his crew took down Sovereign and Saren. The council have now finally learned about the Reapers, but continue to deny that they are a real threat. The Collectors are harvesting... Read Full Review

Mass Effect 2 is a blast!

My 145th review after Halo: Reach. This game is about Shepard who has passed away due to a suffocation as his/her body is pulled into the orbit of a nearby planet after a suit breach and the SSV Normandy is attacked by an... Read Full Review

ME2 is a good action/adventure game, but don't mistake it for an RPG.

If ever there were a case for double-checking the genre a game is listed under, it's Mass Effect 2. For a game that claims to be an RPG, it makes no attempt to hide the fact that it's actually a third-person shooter acti... Read Full Review
