At first you think: Finally another mario game with other sports, 10 minutes later you regret you said it.

The game is totally flawed, if you compare it with mario strikers charged you can see it was done in a hurry, you have 4 different sports but none have anything special. All characters, like in mario tennis, have bars to measure their power, technique and speed, but you don't see the implications of this in the gameplay. I started to play basketball with my brothers and at first i thought, okay nice animations, but 2 min after you get bored, you try to run or do some ankle breaker but there is no button to do so.
Then we went to dodgeball tournament and we thought, okay it's fun but cpu's offer no challenge, we did all the tournaments and did mushroom cup on hard (much like the normal).
We then got to volleyball and though finally something challenging, but when you get used to it it is a cakewalk, if you stand in the pink circle where the ball is going to fall and don't press any button nor shake your remote your character will take it anyways and you get tired to do the cup cause it is 2 sets of 15 points that are totally easy and just a waste of time.
So we tried the last one, hockey, and by playing it I thought about this review, we skip all the controls and start playing, results 15 x 0 for us. There was a time that I stopped to play and dropped my controller on the couch the cpu's kept circling me but did not take the puck, my brother had to do so and he was from my team!

So that's it, don't buy the game if it ain't gonna be for kids with 5 years or less, it is absolutely easy and repetitive and there are no special controls, you can't break ankles in bball or trick the other volleyball team by sending the ball at the 2nd touch. It is totally manipulated, predictable, made to be played once and sold after 30 minutes. Very disappointing.
