Pros: Mario Party 6 is a pretty good game. The game play is way better than MP5 since the animations are faster and the characters seem to run around the board. I also like the re-introduction of shops (it's nice to have a choice). Music was good; kinda interesting that's there a music theme for day and night. Mic mode is really fun with lots of people. It's kind of weird just talking to yourself and playing against AI. The quiz show "Speak Up" is really fun with four people or four teams (one of the most fun experiences I've had with MP6) I like the fact that any person can play Mario Party, regardless of video game skill. (the reason I like the Mario Party series) Cons: Mini-games could use more work. Some of them are quite lame like the game "Same is lame"... I guess the producers were busy with the mic. Plus there were only two "normal" boards (the ones where the star stays in one place until someone gets it) I really like that kind of style. The other boards can be very very frustrating, like Fair Square. (should be called unfair square in my opinion) but then again, luck can spice things up a bit. Last word: In general, It's a great multiplayer game, but hopefully Mario Party 7 will be even better.

This game is just plain fun. With the new characters, new modes, new places, new mini-games. It's just plain great. The single player will keep you occupied for a while, but the multiplayer is where the fun really begins... Read Full Review
