MKDD is the only mario kart on the gamecube. Can it stand on its own two feet or need some back-up?
Story-No story
Gameplay- MKDD brings a new gameplay mechanic to the mario kart series with two people driving at once. In one player mode you simiply go to the grand prix and start racing with two characters each with there own abilitys even though some are copied like mario and luigis fireballs the only diffrence are the diffrent colors , and walugi and wario bombs are the same and the process gets just a BIT tedious other than that its very fast and offers alot of characters another thing i have to say though if you wanted to put mario and oh say bowser on marios kart thats not possible because you can only ride in the heavier types car. SO you would have to switch your dream team on to bowsers cart.... other than that there are TONS of items and the computer AI is never cheating!Its a really fun expierience.

Graphics/Design -On the gamecube the graphics are great and are a big up from the original mario kart theres very clear textures and everything is so colorful!Not much to say even though the characters can be a bit stiff at well some times its still a great game to look at.But it DOES share flaws yes it does....

Music/Sound- This is great music and jsut awsome to listen to but some stages (Very few like 2) can get grading.

Multiplayer-The multiplayer is the best thing about this game. Two players can co-op a grand prix and jsut race it out ro race each other its very fun and has almost no flaws!!!!

Overall- MKDD is a fine collecton to any GC owner it has nice graphics good multiplayer and is really fun..pick it up.
