could have been much better..
So, the game had a really high potential, and way is that?
because finally we get to see an action game (and not anther shooter) that got a nice idea (although its a starship troopers script), an overall good formula on the battling system, and sweet graphics (the "hero" is a little bit cheesy but the monsters/snow landscapes looks great).
unfortunetly, as i mentioned, the gameplay got too many flaws..
1)charecter is slow, and you feel it.
2)their's actully a time clock in each level, which is stupid, way should i not take my time and watch the white and snowy mountains and instead run my way to killing bugs and "earning" a few more seconds by slicing them..
3)the movement uncomfterable, you need to roll the mouse a couple of times until you do 180-360 movement's, and unlike the genius resident evil 5 "C" button which allows you to move backward in fast motion, you get an ALT button forcing you to move slide ways, also, the character is blocky... that is the greatest flaw im my opinion.
4)boring, just go forward and kill bugs, doesnt have a story.
5)the claw thing is a nice idea, but totally useless and you cant control it freedomly.
overall, dont buy it, dont rent it, wait for lost planet 2.
if they will fix all of those bugs in the sequal, the game is gonna be a blast..
