Lost Kingdoms is good if you're looking for a quick fix of light fun, but otherwise, it's not for everyone.

This game isn't as good as its sequel, however, it's still pretty solid when it comes down to actual game-play. The battle system is good, with flexibility for different styles of decks. The card battling actually flows fairly well, with little lag, except for the summons type, which is expected. The graphics can be a pain at times, but the camera usually makes up for that, with a wide range so you can look around instead of wasting time running around. Plus, the actual cards themselves and some of the loading screens are fairly aesthetic, which eases the boredom from the time spent loading some missions. The story-line is okay, but definitely lacking in dialogue, and it really doesn't take off until later in the game. Overall, unless you really like this type of game, it's better to rent than buy, especially since you can still get the data to use for extra content in the sequel, just by renting.
