Lego Racers is a really welcoming and a great racing game. There are lots of things to do in this racing game. Lego lets you create your own character and race. You can create a character's appearance and also a vehicle. There are about 6 or 7 bosses, that what makes the game very short. The standard of level is a bit too easy too.
Multiplayer is an interesting part of the game. You can't challenge boss in multiplayer mode. When beating bosses, if you come top 3 you advance, if you can first, the boss you just beaten gives you the vehicle and the parts of it to customize your own kart.
Boss races are normally 3 to 4 races. Graphics are great, there aren't such things as glitches, the action is clear. Sound effects are great too. Mostly when you use a power-up. Power-ups come in 4 colors; green, red, blue and yellow. Green, if I'm not wrong is for speed and acceleration boost. Red is for attack. Blue and yellow are force fields. Environments in the game are excellent and unremarkable.
Still the game is over far too soon and far too easy. Still the excellent creation modes make this game worth while. There is a lot in the game to be enjoyed. AI isn't dump in the game and sometimes can give you a little challenge but this game is not for hard-core racing fans. Lego Racers is good for everyone, from kids to older people and its definitely worth checking out.
