Fairly broken, but still fun if you're a patient person...

I was pretty excited to get this game and play it with my 5 year old son. I love the Justice League, and had hoped that a Lego game that let you play as JL members would be made at some point when I heard that Warner Bros. purchased Travelers Tales.

After playing through the story mode with my son, I can safely say that this game could have been great, if it had been left in in the cooker a little longer. However, the reality is that the game seems un-finished, and almost plays like a Beta.

The game has frozen on us several times for no apparent reason. At other points, we were not able to advance through certain levels for no apparent reason, and had to quit the level and start it again. I really hope there's a patch for the freezing problems.

Characters (villains that need to be purchased) and game objects will sometimes not appear in an area unless you sit and wait for them for several seconds.

Another annoyance is having to wait several seconds for characters to load when choosing from the character menu while playing the game.

The split screen was a good idea in theory, but in practice, they way it moves around and spins can be disorienting and frustrating.

This game is still fun to play, especially if you're a fan of DC comics and you have kids, but you've got to look past a lot of flaws to enjoy it.
