Though the game IS about mediocre, it's not in the way that the GameSpot reviewers state.
Anyways, though not the most 'captivating' game (its graphics are mediocre, has no voice acting, and Lang runs like a douche), it is very fun. Most notably, the battle system is fun. It's ever enjoyable to be able to customize attacks of your characters, and make new moves. Though this brings up a big problem, unless you look up the moves, it is HIGHLY unlikely to find out all the combos, especially the ones that are like 5+ movements.
Apart from the few minor problems, the game's storyline is not bad at all. It's actually very good. You fall in love with the voiceless characters (both literal, and literal in a diff way).
Honestly, the game isn't much different from other RPGs minus the whole battle system, which in retrospect makes it completely different.. But whatever, this game is good, and worth checking out.
