It could have been great if not for the shortcomings.
The game has excellent voice acting and a compelling story. The characters are great and the game did an excellent job wrapping up a story that so few games out there can even come close to competing.
Cons:
The camera is just plain awful. I've had times exiting a room only to immediately enter back into it by accident. This would have been forgivable, if not for the fact that it had been happening all of the time.
It's frustrating to have such reverence for a game that is so hard to play. It wouldn't be bad if it were genuinely challenging but I find that the toughest part is going from one area to the next without accidentally returning.
Beyond that, it would have been nice if they didn't make both characters practical clones of each other. Their abilities are almost mirror images of each other. I see a missed opportunity here that the game developers didn't seem to care about.
