A rip-off of Mario Kart, but has it's own good qualities...well, a few, anyway.

Story
Apparently, there’s supposed to be one. You name your ID card and try to get titles and licenses. However, past that, there isn’t much of a storyline.

Gameplay
As I’m reviewing this, there are probably some people thinking “This game is probably just a rip off of Super Mario Kart”. I’m here to tell you that you are 100% correct. You look at the gameplay of Super Mario Kart and you’ll find the gameplay here. It is about 90% the same. The only differences are the items and the courses.

Basically, you drive around against 5 other drivers and try to beat them. You can pick up items from these little flower-like things and then use them. The items are rather lame, and the drivers are annoying.

Graphics
Impressive, probably because Konami Krazy Racers was a GBA launch title. Though cartoony, the graphics perfectly utilized the GBA’s new functions.

Durability
Like any kart racing game, it’s fun and durable until you beat all the races. There’s the link function that allows you to race up to three other friends, but other than that, this game won’t last past the races.

Sound:
Average sound. It doesn’t stick out to you and it doesn’t annoy you either.

Controls: One of the first GBA games that utilized the L and R buttons, it’s very easy to get the hang of the controls.

A accelerates and B brakes, like most racing games. Pressing R jumps and L uses an item.
