Brings Kirby back to its roots in with flashy new powerups and super fun multiplayer.

I actually didn't grow up with Kirby, so I missed out on what traditional Kirby games were like (sort of played them before), it was mainly the quirky out of the box type Kirby games I played (Tilt n Tumble, Epic Yarn, Mass Attack) so when I heard that the new Kirby Wii game will bring Kirby back to his roots, I was excited and when I finally got it, I was not disappointed.

Kirby games are known for being very accessible yet just a joy to play and this game showcases that very well. I did like how the game does challenge you to get every last energy sphere and some of those spheres were pretty hard to get. The story itself was charming and had a bit of a twist that I wasn't expecting.

The visuals are very cute, bright and colorful, true to a standard Kirby game and simply pleasing to look at regardless of taste. The music was pretty good, although not as great as Epic Yarn's soundtrack but it only added to the experience. I did very much love the amount of content the game had and the challenge stages, which truly tested your gaming skills, especially if you wanted a platinum medal in each stage (I've yet to get a single one T_T).

All in all, really great Kirby game, something that's enjoyable with friends and by yourself.
