The first of many Kirby spin-off titles. Not as fun as the platformers but it does retain the high replay value.

There really isn't much to say other than its a pinball game with a Kirby theme to it. It does have a plot and bosses. You can choose between 3 different stages named after the end boss for each: Whispy Woods, Poppy Bros Sr. and Kracko. The format of each level is that there are 3 different screens and you start out in the middle after selecting the level to play in. The goal is to complete the challenge in middle screen to advance to top screen while not falling to the lower one. If you do fall to the lower screen, don't worry, its not game over...you just have flip your way back up and not fall any lower (which at that point does result in the loss of a life). Once you get to top screen, you're confronted with a mini boss to defeat and after proving successful, you will then face the end boss of that level. After 3 levels of this, you finally face King Dedede in his signature wrestling which has been adapted to the pinball format of the game.

My Breakdown:

What's Good:

- Look and sounds stay constitant to the rest of the Kirby series
- Fun to pick up and play
- High replay value
- Uniquely uses enemies common to the Kirby series as part of each level's environment

What's Not-So-Good:

- The game can be unforgivingly difficult at times
- The story is even more concise than previous installments. To point where its almost non-existant outside of user manual

What's Bad:

- No save or password feature. This is what can make the game a pain in the @ss some times...to make so much progress and lose it all over something stupid.

In all, Kirby's Pinball Land is great for picking up and playing but if your goal is to complete the game, it can be a frustrating experience!
