I guess EA decided it'd be a good idea to put GoldenEye into its patented Bland-O-Matic, and Agent Under Fire was the result. How could a game made for the PS2 have a shorter campaign than an old N64 game? There's not nearly enough originality here to offset the overall feel of drabness of this game; and there ain't enough challenge in the single-player mode as well. Multi-player? There's even less maps to choose from, but at least it adds powerups and gadgets that add some variety, but not enough.
Maybe 007: Nightfire is a little bit better than this; haven't played that one yet.
