MY ULTIMATE OPINION:
Horizon Zero Dawn is intensely "engaging" and "indulging" mainly because of its very logical battle system and wonderful panorama of its post-apocalyptic world besides the interesting story line and fantastically designed robotic animals. Personally all of these perfectly pampered my gaming needs and got me glued to my sofa.
The game has amazing details that you probably have not seen in other games. Expressions, responses, effects are all detailed and has a logical connection with the given scenarios. Soundtracks deliver the right emotions although they could have been better.
In my opinion once you give it a try, you will probably be playing it till the end.
DISSECTION:
BUT! after dissecting the game for its negativity, there had been a pile of things to discuss but nothing worth considering because when you are in the game there isn't anything at all to force you to stop playing, no matter how much room for improvement you may start to register in your head as you advance in the game.
Below are just 2 aspects of the game I would like to shed some light on, but then again they aren’t actually important to consider when deciding whether to buy this game.
1. The Scattered Story Line vs The Vast Land To Explore
You will find the story line a bit scattered in that there will be lots of detailed side quests to complete besides the main quest and the vast land will drag you out of the line from time to time just as all RPGs do. Again its nothing worth noting because you will be enjoying it all.
2. Character Design
Main Characters, others and NPC’s they are all well designed but to a good extent they lack distinguishing details when it comes to their dressing. This is probably because in most parts, the game had to be crowded with NPCs because of which you will easily note that characters in general look mostly the same ion terms of dressing. This annoys me since I am a fan of RPG games and so I prefer characters to look as different as they can possibly be.
