Hey you, nice job on the game, Pikachu! It's not bad as people make it out to be. Hey you, Pikachu is actually highly recommended for young children as they get to talk to one of the most famous Pokemon of all-time. Yeah, it's through a screen, but it's still entertaining. I remember when I played this as a young kid; and it was incredible. Of course, the game is short and is nowhere near challenging. However, it does say right on the box that it's for 12 year olds and under which brings me under the assumption that they used that for an excuse like "Oh, well, we don't want to give young kids such a challenge that they'll hate the game for it." Which is understandable; but for us adults...(chuckles)...really? Is that why this has such a low rating on GameSpot with the user score? I bet half of those votes are from teenagers who don't know any better and say "This game sucks, it's not challenging, it's not fun, it's incredibly boring and THERE IS NOTHING GOOD ABOUT IT!". Seriously, don't listen to those reviews. If you're a parent, and looking to give your kid a fantastic gift then buy him/her this. However, if they don't "dig" Pokemon at all. Scrap that idea, scrap this review, and go look at something else. For us, old people, we need to understand that this game was MADE FOR KIDS. NOT US. So, by giving this game a low score because of that; is just nuts. You're nuts. Bye.
