One of the most overrated games of our generation.

User Rating: 7 | Half-Life 2 MAC
''Half-Life 2'' at the time of its released was a big thing, it was considered original, UNIQUE and the physics were amazing well, its eight years later and I am here to tell you that all of that is complete crap.

The plot has been done countless of times the oppressed world setting has been done in V for Vendetta, The **** Games, and etc., the gameplay is your typical fps shooter pistols, shotguns and machine guns and that thing called the ''Gravity Gun'' which was considered original at the time of its released with its amazing physics and now don't seem such a big deal nowadays, the story is you're Gordon Freeman a silent dude that never talks and is one of those guys if you see in a subway you would completely scare the crap out of you and the dude called ''Government Man'' who sent you into this oppressed world that has no guy in a Guy Fawke's mask...great and how did you get to this wonderful utopia? Well, Black Mesa was destroyed by chickens and aliens with bellybuttons and this place is all oppressed and sad and has no color and what are you suppose to do? Well, the cliched thing of course, which would mean the whole ''Power to the People'' thing that V for Vendetta did much more better and stylish, and I know what you're probably thinking ''Why is this overzealous nerd comparing this to a movie?''. Well, because this is my **** review and I can do whatever I want and this plot never got me invested at all, I didn't care what was happening with the Combine and all that other cliched stuff and the Santa Claus on the screen telling people about this and that, what made this game amazing back then has been improved on much more better in other games. Not to say its a bad game, just one that hasn't aged well and the graphics of the game are decent still to today's standard even though some of it is dated.

''Half-Life 2'' isn't a bad game, just an overrated one that was amazing eight years ago and not so today and doesn't deserve the hype it still gets, so I give it a...whatever 7/10.
