When I first bought this game on launch I was blown away by just how fantastic the game was, the acting, the quirky characters & the immersing story & beautiful graphics, Then later the online aspect came along changing the landscape of multiplayer gaming forever I instantly fell in love all over again with the online mode and that's all I played, Until the modders & hackers came along and ruined everything for all legit gamer's out there, I say legit gamer's because YOU hacker/modders out there, You know who you are, ain't gamer's or even casual players, Your all d#cks & losers who can't play a game properly so what do you do? You cheat, using game breaking mods like Infinite Health, Indestructible Vehicles, Souped up weapons & most annoying you interfere with other gamer's in lobbies too, by either putting a 9 million dollar bounty on their heads which even if they survive they still get banned by Rockstar themselves because they fail to report it as was the case with a friend of mine who didn't have a rockstar account so he couldn't report the situation, Its funny how we get punished for something that scumbags do.
Yes the cheaters are banned, but us gamers are made to jump through hoops to get them banned by Rockstar, Not only do we need to write a detailed essay with the guilty parties gamertag's we also need recorded evidence, I actually did this once with my camera phone,it showed me emptying magazine after magazine into some modder/loser & him basically kicking my #ss when he got bored, but this wasn't good enough, the response was we can't see the actions clearly, do you have Kinnect? After this stupid question I thought 2 things. 1) If I had Kinnect why the f#ck would I be using my phone? For sh#ts & giggles? 2)Is Rockstar in bed with Microsoft? That was when I gave up on the idea of help from Rockstar support & decided to just muddle though with my online enjoyment/frustration.
As of August 4th 2014 I've stopped playing this game as the modded DNS are back up and rife with these clowns who would have been better used for stem cell research than a human life & I am not alone in feeling this way Modders are to blame for the fall in gamer interest, But some of the blame falls on Rockstar themselves as they don't do much if anything about this unless it affects their bottom line first & foremost, Like say if you enter a money lobby by accident or otherwise your more than likely to be issued a ban like I was earlier this year, Even though I got in touch with Rockstar told them the situation it still took 48 hours for my ban to be lifted, But the modded lobbies in general don't get half the attention the money ones do & why? Because the people making modded money aren't paying real world money for it with Rockstar's expensive Shark Cards, I actually bought a few of these being a massive GTA fanatic putting over £100 of my money in Rockstars pockets for the cards alone. If you'd told me the online mode would look like this before I bought my first Shark card I wouldn't have bothered, Here's my last thoughts on Rockstars stance on game breaking modders they don't really go after them unless it affects their bottom line directly, But the thing is it does affect them too because real gamer's are stopping playing the game altogether & Rockstar needs to be seen to be taking action against these scumbags & not basically asking us to pay out more money for a frigging camera attachment so they can get a clearer picture. Open your f#ck#ng eyes Rockstar before all your left with is hackers & modders, Because from what I've seen that's the way its headed.
