GTA V gave me chills when it came through my cat flap, well not exactly I signed for it but however the game gave me mumps and putting it in to my 360 for the first time I got a feeling that ive never had with any game. It installed and like a lot of people I got very excited, the story started in a way that I thought it was cod 3rd person but hey it was good. After 4 Hours of playing I noticed somethings the game was very fast in some main missions but most of the side quest were quite disappointing if you were not playing as Trevor and therefore made it hard to actually drive to attempt them, as for the map well it disappointed also it could have been a lot bigger if on next gen but nooo, as some people might have done once freedom was unlocked I explored the area and Blaine County. Though the map is still very big, using planes as transport was still was a bit too small. However the online on the game blew me away, when it started working of course. GTA Online on Xbox 360 works very well with the party system like COD and other MMO's, playing with friends was the best way to experience it because of the freedom and randomness in deathmatches and races. I ranked up very quickly on the first few days it worked. After about 6 Hours each day I was a 27 and had a lot of cash from doing jobs and races, ranking up takes time but is still very fun and gives an objective most of the time. So overall the campaign was a little dull when off the main missions but the online definitely deserves some credit when not broken in that 1.04 patch. I'd give it 6th in my game of the year list yes 6th or 4th now just before next gen.
