I not only played Gothic2, I mastered it. Once you get you're feet on the ground the games rules. When I heard that Europe was getting Night of the Raven, I thought, man thats too bad we aren't ever getting it. Then one day I saw that Aspry media was making Gothic2 Gold edition. It may of taken a while for me to get it, but it was worth that wait. The new content is awesome. A war between Pirates and Bandits? Come on you gotta love that! The only thing its missing is a full scale battle.... The game also has been added with new weapons, the weapons system was changed, and the main game was updated. I say that anyone who likes Morrowind, maybe some GTA fans, and anyone who likes to do things their way(with small bits or trial and error) would like or even love this game.
Gothic 2 (now with a gold edition that includes a very large new area to explore) is easily one of the best RPG's ever made. I'm pretty jaded about games and I dont give out high scores easily. Gothic 2 deserves a high... Read Full Review
