Game-play 88 % The reason why i am giving so much good credit to this game its because golden eye 64 was the best N64 game in that time and its still the best because no other game beats that. But in this game its so close that I think its revolutionary i will explain why later. You start the first mission Fort Knox and as you think it is its a simulation mission and you play as Goldeneye but you work together to deactivate to bomb to get to the point 007 loses his job because he failed to get to the bomb in time so instead of playing as James bond you play as goldeneye the rogue agent There is 8 missions but some of them are long i think that ea could have done 12 missions to make missions shorter another thing there is not allot of checkpoints in the game if you complete an objective and you close the console when you play it again you will see that the objective is not done that's why this game needs more checkpoints more often. This game does not seem to be good but its good you get a good variety of missions maps and gun combination. Gun combination are fun because you can use 2 guns Left trigger shoots left gun and Right trigger shoots right gun this type of control makes this game revolutionary. Yes it might seem repetitive but its full of action go through all the missions and beat the game and then you will realize what that i am talking about . This game is mind blowing. Another thing 2 discs for this game cube game can be weird because when you get to the 7 mission you have to take out disc 1 and insert disc 2 thats how big the game is on memory on the disc :). On goldeneye rogue agent you can use 4 goldeneye powers this is the best part of the game.
Graphics 74 % The graphics on the gamecube console are horrible the frame rate is fine but the characters need more detail and the maps look like cardboard this is why this game got a 6.3 on gamespot. When you play the game you will realise that nfs hot pursuit 2 has better graphics but its a 2002 game. Better graphics would have been great.
Sound 100 % Good music good sound effects and perfect voice acting good job ea games.
Overall 85 % this game is a must have on any console not sure about ds but this game will change the way you play video games.
Positive + Good variety of maps and guns,good music and voice acting.Good use of goldeneye powers.
Negative -No online,bad graphics,long missions some are hard. no checkpoints or prompt saving.
