Entertaining combat and ingenious puzzles make God of war 1 a must have , even after six years from it's release date.
In the last two weeks I played all of the God of war series and even now that I am writing the review I'm at the final level of GOW III . First I must note that I played this game on PS3 with GOW collection.I start with the story.It was fully spoiled for me with the GOW's best moments feature at Gamespot But still you will love the epic atmosphere that surrounds the game. Kratos was an unbelievably awesome character and it is now too.Gameplay is two parts : puzzles and Action.Puzzle design is incredible and there are some challenging and difficult puzzles that need patience and time but they rarely get frustrating.Combat is also excellent and brutally entertaining .There are a few boss fights too that make the action even more exciting.But It's the great level design that make the action so exhilarating and so different and so better than next gen craps like Dante's Inferno they just can't get as good as God of war series even Great games like Bayonetta and Ninja Gaiden.The production values are superb too.The mind blowing sound track is extremely epic and even the old looking technical Graphics won't stop you from enjoying the awesome artistic design and new HD resolutions.At the end I want to say that GOW 1 is a masterpiece even after six years.
