Loved the game, the battle system...
The game was good over all, it carried over the story line quite well from ep1, however I did find the new battle system to be quite lacking,it had its moments but it fell short most of the time.I enjoyed the missions an... Read Full Review

An improvement upon the first, and exceptional for the middle of a trilogy.
I somewhat trudged my way through the first Xenosaga. It had an incredible story, but the battles were very very tedious and that really slowed down the overall pace of the game. There were also a few bosses that were ex... Read Full Review

when i played the first i loved it didn't take long either, but when i dove into the second game i was instantly thrown off by how much the characters had changed visually. the first game had a cute chibi style for mo... Read Full Review

Xenosaga II was only slightly better than the first game, but that doesn't say a whole lot about the series.
Overall, I think the story, graphics, sound and world map was all improved. I have mix feelings with the battle system, since I think it was improved in some areas, but entirely messed up in others. They added a bunch mo... Read Full Review

Those who enjoyed the first game shouldn't be disappointed by this sequel.
Xenosaga II marks the second game in the space opera trilogy. If you're planning on getting this game, you'll probably want to have played the first game, and if you have, you'll likely know more or less what your in for... Read Full Review

Xeno II is indeed beautiful. But beauty can not help the lack of gameplay within the game. Im going to keep this review short. The game is definantly worth buying just for the story value. Any Xeno fan such as myself wil... Read Full Review

A good game, but far from the original.
Xenosaga episode 1 was one of my favorite games ever. So why change so much? Almost all of the main characters' designs have changed, to where a couple of them hardly look like the same person. There are different voice ... Read Full Review

Xenosaga Episode II may fix a lot of the issues from Episode I, but in its stead, simply creates more to deal with.
With Xenosaga Episode I's dull battle system out of the way, Xenosaga Episode II throws something totally new at us; and something controversial. The basic goal of the battles in Episode II is to locate an enemy's weak p... Read Full Review

Unique and Refreshing
My experience with the first Xeno Saga was simply amazing. The game had a beautiful story line which in my opinion, rivals that of Final Fantasy 7 and Final Fantasy Tactics for the PS1. The graphics and the detailed grea... Read Full Review
