What Gamespot Users have to say about X-Blades

    Too easy... Too repetitive...

STORY: In X-Blades you are in a role of an experienced treasure hunter that goes into a lost temple in search of an artifact of godly powers. (Obviously, the story is completely unoriginal...). Soon, you will find some s... Read Full Review

Has X-Blades got the gameplay to put SE in front of its title? My DarkZero review of X-Blades

Just by looking at the case of X-Blades, you can tell one thing. Whoever came up with the design of the character is obviously trying to sell the game on sex appeal alone. When it comes down to it, I don't have a problem... Read Full Review

    Potential that fell short....

X-Blades is a hack and slash fighter where you play the role as a heroine named Ayumi who is in search for treasure. Along the way you will run in to other characters who you will be able to play as at some point. Now on... Read Full Review

    A disjointed arena fighter.

This game tried too hard. It should have just been happy to be a regular arena fighter as that is essentially what it is. The graphics are decent, the monsters are decent, the fighting is decent. Everything else is pr... Read Full Review

    A Flashy Hack & Slash

X-Blades is one of those games that could have used a few more months of development before its release. X-Blades isn't a bad game, its just one of those you'll probably quickly forget. It does stand apart from other... Read Full Review

    Pass on it.

This game is just not that good. All it would take is ONE look at the TITLE and you will know how bad the game is. Sure, it gives a few kicks right off the bat and the game looks good (what games DON'T look good on th... Read Full Review

There should be a new genre made for games like this, called "Crap".

Hack 'n Slash games are meant to relax the player with simple, fast, mindless action. They are the junk food equivalent of video games. You can't eat fillet mignon every day; occasionally we want a greasy whopper. X-Blad... Read Full Review

Not as bad as I thought...

Well, basically the classification says it. Just plain fun. First of all, id like to say that the game is definitely underrated. Obvliously everybody are rating the game so low due the fact that it lacks any story and ev... Read Full Review

I found it very fun and nice graphics, good gameplay and sort of long game. It did have a little bit of problems with it

The game was great. It's got not much of a story line but the graphics are nice. The game was sort of easy even on hard mode and now i'm currently on pro so ill see how this goes. its basically a hack and slash with spel... Read Full Review
