This game was a total let down. Hated it.
Played this game for a very short period in multi player. Controls very awkward to use. Game was very boring and a let down. Watched the single player campaign being played and had no interest in playing it myself. I wat... Read Full Review

A good basic arcade style Star Trek ship-to-ship combat game that spans each era of the Trek universe.
I believe Kevin VanOrd missed the point of this Trek game. This wasn't supposed to be an in-depth tactical starship simulator steeped in rich detail (that's what Star Trek Legacy for the PC and X360 will offer). This g... Read Full Review

Starfleet Command For Dummies
I bought this at the px here in Iraq for about $15, fully expecting a Star Trek themed space combat game, which is precisely what I got. You start out in Enterprise, and work your way up to Sovereign, passing through the... Read Full Review

This is more like the Command and Conquer engine. 2D topographical of your ship flying around completing missions.
For the most part, this is a common graphical engine seen in Command and Conquer 1 and 2 and Red Alert. Your given a 2D spotdown in which your flying a single ship against a handful of missions. The graphics are not what... Read Full Review

Great if you like Star Trek, but could have been better.
Well, I know I'm still waiting for a better Star Trek game. Encounters plays too much into the arcade style of gaming, and doesn't have the controls to make it all that enjoyable. I found it very hard to steer at the... Read Full Review

Essentially a 2-D top-down game - confusing controls and bad sound compression for narrative. Already traded in!
I had my suspicions about this game early on when I found out the game was priced as low as $14.99 - brand new - at release!! My first thought as I held it in my hand was "How bad is this game?" I bought it an... Read Full Review

Who would've thought Trek games could still be good?
It hasn't been since the Elite Force series ended, or perhaps the last Armada game, that a Star Trek game has actually lived up to the dynamics of the show. And that's perfectly alright. Star Trek is a franchise renow... Read Full Review

Star Trek: Encounters is fan fun, but casual fans should be warned
The game itself is a great value, and can be found for under fifteen dollars. The game appeals to fans of the Star Trek series who crave more of the show and need a game to fill the void that has been left since Starfle... Read Full Review

Exactly on the dot, a game with little publicity and price that is solid and good.
Where did it come from? From the way Bethesda was talking they mentioned nothing about this game, but as I walk through a game store I spot it. On the spot it caught me by surprise. When new trek games were announced th... Read Full Review
