Katamari Damacy is quite strange, yet surprisingly accessable.
From the moment I was told about this game from one of my friends, I knew it was going to be something to see. It's no looker, it's nothing really all that special on the outside, but it's the heart that counts, and thi... Read Full Review

It's part snowball effect, part Grand Theft Auto, mixed with the greatness of the King of All Cosmos.
One has to give Namco a lot of credit for having the cojones to release a game like Katamari Damacy in the United States. It's different from pretty much everything else on the market. It's very quirky, it's very unique,... Read Full Review

Who would have thought this strange puzzle game would be so good?
When I ordered Katamari Damacy (KD), I did it out of pressure. GameSpot said I'd better do it since it was so cheap and so great, but I was pretty sure I was throwing away my money. I was wrong! KD is a simplisticly d... Read Full Review

Katamari Damacy isn't a game that only fans of obscure Japanese games should play, it's a game that everyone should play
If you don't already know about Katamari Damacy, here's the poop: You roll a ball (called a katamari) around so that it collects stuff and gets bigger within a time limit. That's it. It's pretty cool that, out of that ab... Read Full Review

Though not the best puzzle game ever, Katamari Damacy will certainly rank amongst the most memorable and unique.
I am not a huge fan of Japanese games. I don’t have a particular fondness for the contributions Japanese developers have made to the role-playing genre, and I thank God every day that “Choose-Your-Own-Adventure”-style d... Read Full Review

Absurd in concept and bizarre in practice, Katamari Damacy is a hoot to play.
Describing Namco’s Katamari Damacy is akin to conveying the meaning of a Picasso painting: comprehensible in the most abstract way, yet utterly baffling in its simple profundity. But make no mistake: this unusual puzzle ... Read Full Review

Katamari Damacy is a simple, well executed, fun, and weird game that will keep you coming back.
When I first heard of Katamari Damacy, I knew that I would love it. I also figured that I would never get to play it unless I imported it. When the news came out that the game was being brought to the U.S.A, I was ecst... Read Full Review

Quirky, strange, yet refreshingly addictive, Katamari Damacy is the best budget game this year.
Katamari Damacy is a great gem of a game which has a style that is unmatched in the US. Though the game can be entertaining for nearly anyone, it will be particularly fun for those who can understand the Japanese culture... Read Full Review

Almost as much fun to watch someone else play as playing it yourself, but may cause motion sickness.
Rather than repeat what others have already written about this simple, goofy game, I wanted to add that after just a few plays, I've experienced motion sickness. I avoid FPS games for the same reason: too much back/forth... Read Full Review

Great addictive play that will keep you coming back for more. A great game to show to friends as well.
Katamari Damacy was a gem of a little game that I noticed on Gamespot’s homepage one day. I read the review, and then watched the movies of the game and saw how fun the game looked. Then when I read that the price was 20... Read Full Review
