Secret Ending

Collect all 15 Folio Magi cards and Ron will give you the final one which will unlock a secret ending on completion of the game.

Hogwarts Secret Passage #6

If you investigate the doorway at the bottom the 4th floor hallway, you will climb a hidden staircase all the way to the 7th floor hallway, emerging from a door at the bottom. You can also investigate this doorway to slide down to the 4th floor hallway.

In the 3rd floor hallway, there is a tapestry hanging in the northwest corner. If you investigate this, you will slide down to the 2nd floor hallway, emerging from the tapestry in the northwest of this floor.

Hogwarts Secret Passage #3

In the 2nd floor hallway, there there are two griffin statues. If you investigate behind the one nearest the staircases to the 3rd floor, you will climb a hidden staircase and emerge from the stone head resting on a pedastal in the southeast corner of the 5th floor hallway. Investigating this head will also cause you to slide down to the 2nd floor hallway.

In the 2nd floor hallway, there is a tapestry hanging in the northeast corner. If you investigate this, you will climb a hidden staircase and emerge from the tapestry in northeast corner of the 4th floor hallway. Investigating this tapestry will also cause you to slide down to the 2nd floor hallway.

Hogwarts Secret Passage #1

In the Hogwarts Dungeons, there is a stone block with a face in the northeast corner. If you investigate this, you will climb a hidden staircase all the way to the 5th floor hallway, coming out at the bottom of the hallway. You can also investigate this entrance at the bottom of the 5th floor to slide down to the Dungeons.

Unlimited House Points for Gryffindor

While searching for ingredients during Potions class, it is possible to receive 1 House Point from Professor Sprout near the greenhouses, if you collected Snake Fangs and spoke to Hagrid beforehand; however, if you return to Hagrid, you can restart the Professor Sprout event to gain an additional House Point. This can be repeated an endless number of times.

Hidden shooter game

In Diagon Alley, buy 30 pairs of boots. Then when crossing the moat to the castle, pause and unpause the game, and you'll be able to press the button to shoot owls at the bugs flying over the water.

New Game +

Beat the game and save, you'll be able to start a new game with the same experience, cards and sickles you collected. This makes it alot easier to beat the game again and get to MAX level.

Hidden room in the 'Library Annexe' room

This hidden room is located in the room which has several brown desks and chairs that prefects are patrolling around in, during one of the nights in the game. This is the very same room you have to sneak through, in order to open the door on the right leading to the 'Restricted Section' (The other door leads somewhere else)

Open the map by pressing SELECT, and you'll see a noticeable large room behind the left wall. Activate the Lumos spell and approach the left wall, and the wall should glow green at the edges, so press 'X' to open the wall and inside you'll find a large, golden chest containing a wizard card.

Secret room in Lumos Challenge mission

In the large room of the Lumos Challenge mission on the PS2, where you have two alcoves on opposite sides of the room containing a floor switch and a box, several imps that you need to stun and lock away in the cages before a pedestal rises from the center platform where you have to feed Hedwig an owl treat to progress (she flies upwards and a large ladder drops down which you climb up and proceed to the next area), there is a slightly hidden room that you can open once you have already obtained the Lumos spell.

Before climbing up the ladder, open the map by pressing SELECT, and notice that one of the alcoves with the floor switch and box, has a small rectangular shaped extension behind one of the walls. Go to this alcove, stand in front of this wall (use the map to help you) and use the Lumos spell, which will cause the wall to glow green at the edges. Open this hidden door, and inside you'll find several beans, a small chest, as well as a fire crab enemy that you can only stun momentarily.

Easy Cards and Beans

Every single day and night, you can explore Hogwarts' Classrooms. In those classrooms are desks which can be opened and examined for items inside. In some classrooms, a desk will not open. In others, some desks will have nothing inside. But in every classroom, there can be found AT LEAST one wizard card and AT LEAST 4+ beans. These cards and beans regenerate as different flavors and cards and allow you to consistently get different cards and tons of beans. If you explore every classroom day and night, without acheiving any other cards anywhere in the game, by Night 4, you should easily have all 101 witches and wizard cards, even Albus Dumbledore. I had mine by Day 3, and soon found myself trying to Triples of every card, which I achieved.

Wizard Card Packs consisting on FIVE cards also randomly regenerate themselves EVERY day AND night and can be found in Classrooms. They ONLY will regenerate in classrooms but this is more than enough cards by now to complete your collection and obtain the five bars of health.

If you find you are getting the same amounts of cards, trade with ANYONE in the castle until you run out of doubles of your hundreds of cards and will DEFINITELY get all 101 cards.

Get Wizard Cards faster and eaiser

When you enter a classroom on any floor check to see if it has single desks in it
if it does search them. Any time there is a new day or night the desks will be restocked with the cards. Do this until you get many doubles then simply trade with other students to get all the wizard cards fast and simple
